All presented in an eclectic setting where you can join other enthusiastic readers for a cup of coffee, Haiku tea or a quick snack. 

 

Wit's End Bookstore is located in the Fremont district of Seattle, Washington... a one-minute walk from the Fremont Bridge facing Lake Union. Book groups meet here various weeknights and folk concerts are regularly held on weekends.

Regular Events at Wit's End 

Friday Nights:  Folk music jam sessions of many flavors from 7 p.m. on. Free to anyone to sit in and play or listen. Call 206-547-2330 for details and performers. 1st Fri. Celtic; 2nd Fri. varied; 3rd Fri. Old Timey with Mark Gapanov; 4th Fri. Scandinavian with Irene Myers.

Saturday Nights: Acoustic music with numerous local musicians and songwriters. Call for info and times.

Sunday Nights:  J. Glenn Evans leads an evening of poetry featuring three selected readers and an open mike. 7-9 p.m. and free. Call 206-547-2330 for details and performers. (There is also a bi-weekly poetry class run by Glenn at Wit’s End.)

Tuesday Nights:  Jim Nason hosts an acoustic open mike and singer/songwriter gathering. Sign up at 6:45, music starts at 7 p.m.

First Wednesday Night of each month: A Latin language and reading group from 7-9 p.m.

Third Wednesday Night of each month:  A study and discussion group on alchemy and esoteric subjects meets from 7-9 p.m.
