The Author visited Book Expo America in Chicago (May 2004) for a series of book signings
and a brief presentation to a panel of journalists. Over 100 people in the
book industry lined up for autographed copies of On the Great Wall.
In Summer 2004, Mrs. Peng spoke to groups at universities in Washington, D.C. and Boston.
She recounted this dramatic tale of a family's adventures in China, Europe, and America
-- a sweeping account of 20th century China all the way up to the successful
launch of a man into space.
In November 2004, Mrs. Peng spoke to over 300 students at Nanjing Normal
University in Nanjing, China. (See last 4 photos below.)
